What would make someone shoot 30 college students and then shoot himself? Why? Why is man so evil and wicked... to take the life of 30 others before taking his own?
And then I think... I used to be just as guilty as that man. I was a murderor, adulteror, thief, etc... That man was like what all of us used to be - a sinner headed straight to hell.
"But God... (ha, don't you love those words?!)... But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now recieved the reconciliation."
The first thing that comes to my head is, "Why Me?" Oh why me, Lord? Out of all the people in the world, You chose specific people who You will adopt as Your sons and daughters. And You chose me... not because of what I've done or said... but because of Your great mercy! What can I say? I will proclaim Your grace loud and long, Lord, for You truly are a great God!!! Thank You!!!
