"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace...(think about that for a while...)... with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, knowing that tribulation (trials, tough times) produces perseverance (endurance); and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the Love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." ~ Romans 5:1-5 (Yeah, Romans!!!

Peace... I also like that verse about God giving us His peace that breaks every wall. Hey, peace is a fruit of the Spirit too! Now isn't that interesting... the fruits of the Spirit are things we do! Now how do we "do" peace? Check out these verses:
"Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it." ~ Psalms 34:14
And:
"These things I [Jesus] have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." ~ John 16:33
"Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." ~ (good 'ol book of) James 3:18
Now check out this last verse:
"For He [Christ] Himself is our Peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation!" ~ Eph. 2:14
Isn't that great?! Christ is our Peace that has broken the wall between us and the Holy God! When Christ died, the veil that separated sinners from the Holy of Holies was torn! "Therefore... we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ!" This is exciting!!!
I jsut need to remember this when I'm going through hard times - Christ Himself is my peace! And I pray to my everlasting Father and Prince of Peace... that Christ is your Peace as well.
