This is what you’ve all been waiting for… the year’s end Duck Awards!!!
Hey everybody, this is the Duckman… remember me?! We know you’ve been on the edge of your seat since the last awards presentation… and finally it’s here again – the Duck Awards!!! And this time, it’s wayyyyyyyyy better! We’ve kept all the original awards and we’ve even added some new ones! Today, We’ll see some people who kept their awards all year… and we’ll also see some new winners! So fasten your seat-belts, folks… ‘cause the Duck Awards are coming up right after this…

Alright! Welcome back to the Duck Awards, this is the Duckman! And we’re going to get right into it! And like I said before, some awards are the same ones, and I’ll tell who the old winner was and then the new. And I’ll make sure you know what the new ones are. Well, I’m ready if you are! Let’s get going! Here’s the judge with the list:
Coolest background– Well, last time, Kelly won the Coolest background award… but this time… Sam wins it! (Oh wait, I forgot to tell you all – just like last time, since I am hosting the Duck Awards, I can’t win any. I know, tis unfair… someday maybe…) Okay, so staying with the superhero idea, the first Duck Award goes to Nate Stebbins @ minkstink!
Coolest Profile Pic– Hmmm… Margo won this one last time, but I can’t remember what hers was! Oh well, doesn’t matter anymore. She falls to Jordan @ Georgian_Von_Strangleheimer! Way to go, Jordan, on your first Duck Award! You have very unique profile pic!
Coolest Pics– Last time, the winner was Caleb R., but this time… it goes to Margo Knight @ hot_cakies! Cool pics, friendly!
Most Hits– This is a new one- and I’m not quite sure about it, but the last time FingerprintX was working, this person had almost 400 hits, 250 more than the runner-up! So, it’s pretty obvious who gets the prize – Kelly Rushcamp @ xxmeisalliwanttobexx
Most comments– Again, a new winner – Joe_Cubed had it last year, but he couldn’t hold on. And I’m assuming you can guess who it is this time – Kelly again! Thanks for the comments! (and remember, looooong ones are the best!)
Slack’in at updating– Last time, this award was actually split between Nate and Matt C., but since they already got a half a Duck, it’s going to Tim Anderson @ tim_thetoolman
Pathetic Computer Issues– Ha… this one Margo won easily last time… but this time, I don’t really know, so I’ll leave it open – if you have had some really, really pathetic computer, let me know…
Most Visited Site– Last time Margo got this, but this time… Hey what do you know? She holds on to her #1 spot all year! Margo gets another Duck Award!
Coolest Headline– Last time, Matt Cook won with his humorous headline. But this time, humor falls to truth. Mark McConnel (puckmark) wins with scripture! Keep it up, Mark!
Most Random Posts– Let’s see, it looks like Joe_Cubed won this last time. Though his posts are still really random, I think we have a challenger; his name – Brad Jackson @ M_I_C_E! Congratulations for your first Duck Award, Brad!
Scariest Site– Last year’s winner- Drew; this year’s winner- Lants @ Deadenday… and I’m thinking he wouldn’t mind this award! Congrats, Lants, on your first Duck Award as well!
Most Creative Name– ExplodingFruit4 is a pretty creative name… if you know what it stands for! But the problem with this award is: creativity is usually new. So, it’s really hard to keep this spot, and thus, Jennifer lost it to Jordan with the name: Georgian_Von_Strangleheimer! Man… all these new guys are taking the old spots!
Hornets Buddy– Steph got this one last time, and for good reason; her site was all decked out in Hornets colors, soccerballs, basketballs, etc… But I think she’s slipped a little! And so this year’s winner is now Jordan again! Yeah, Go Hornets!
Most Funny– Can you guess who got this one last time? Yeah, I’ll give you one, big guess… yeah… Mark! And I’ll tell you right now: it’s going to take some really, really, REALLY, funny people to even challenge him. So Mark holds on all year!
Exciting Posts– What I mean by exciting is… you just can’t wait for the next post to come out! This kind of post keeps you on the edge of your seat, and you even get angry and start threatening when a new post doesn’t come out for a while! Sound familiar? Yeah, this new award goes to none other than Jordan! This guy is crazy! He just made a xanga after the first Duck Awards… and now he has a whoppin’ four Ducks! Congratulations, Jordan!
Worst English– This is a new one, because I find it funny how so many girls abbreviate! So, I’m just giving this one to Darcy Dayton @ . Good job, Darcy, on your first Duck Award!
Cruelest– The vote is unanimous: Mark (period). Uhhh… I’m just doing my job! Great job, Mark, on being the funniest yet cruelest…
Best Mom– This also is a new one; and I was going to give it to Kelly… but I’m sorry, friend. We tested yours and the baby’s DNA, and… well, they don’t match. So you’re disqualified. I’m sorry… but I think you were a great mom! (and I know NOT to give this to Darcy!) So I need another contestant… ah, I know – my Mom (@ Gace__Alone)! Yes, I think you’re the bet mom ever! Congratulations on your first Duck Award as well!
Encouraging– The Silver Duck – Last time, this went to Kelly; and I know she really wanted to find out if she held her spot, so I’ll go quickly. Kelly… I’m sorry… that you had to wait this long, but there was never a doubt in my mind! Congratulations, Kelly, on holding your spot and winning this year’s Silver Duck!
Spiritually Uplifting– This is the Daddy of them all, the Gold Duck! And last time, Jennifer won. Now I’m going to throw a little twist on this one. Because as I was thinking who I would nominate… I thought about Kelly… or Kaleigh… or Chris… but as I thought, the most Spiritual Uplifting time I have on xanga is writing my posts and the times before that God has taught me. I know this should go to the xanga-user that most lifted me up spiritually, but I really think it should go to all of you! I know that sounds cheesy – you’re all winners! – but seriously, wait! I know what I’ll do! The only way you all lift me up is because of Christ! And He uses you all through xanga… so I guess Christ would be considered a “xanga-through-people-User”! And that’s perfect! I really wanted my Best Friend to get this award! Congratulations, on Your first Duck Award… and for Your prize, You get my life! I love you…
